2. Register own domain name for $1.99 when you purchase web hosting from GoDaddy. $1.99 a year

3. Create your web pages using free software called Nvu (pronounced N-view). If you don’t know HTML, don’t worry as Nvu is wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) and upload to you web hosting. Even though this is a free web design software package, it does have tutorials to help with learning the program. Nvu does have many great features to help beginners or even more advanced. The basic web hosting plan from GoDaddy does not have as much space as other plans, but for a beginner this is a good start and you can always upgrade when the time comes for your website to expand.
